Next Full Moon Hike: May 24

Full Moon Hike leaving from the rec hall 6:45.  We'll meet at 6 in the rec hall for a potluck if enough are interested.  Just bring something to share .

Those who haven't experienced these incredibly beautiful if slightly challenging hikes to the ridge at sunset (1200 ft climb, 3-4 miles miles round trip) you really ought to put this on your calendar this year.  Generally we leave about an hour and a half before sunset and hike up to the ridge to catch the sunset and moon rise from the ridge and then come back down in the moonlight.  Enjoy a swim and soak in the hot tub after the hike to soothe those muscles and socialize.  We generally recommend you wear good hiking shoes.  Hiking poles a good idea.  Parts of this hike are strenuous, so you need to be in fairly good shape, and have a fair sense of balance but we take it slow and frequently pause to drink in the views.    Bring water, snacks, good shoes, some kind of wrap for when when needed (something warm is recommended for the ridge where it tends to be cool and windy) flashlights to aid in seeing where you're going as we return in the moonlight.  Costs are $5/person for after hours use of the club.

May 25/26, Indy 500 celebration for Memorial Day

May 26 music event: Come celebrate with The Wined ups at Sequoians.  We play from 8-11 for your listening pleasure.  We plan to break out a number of new original tunes going on the current album we are working on plus a number of our favorite tunes to play.  Dance or sing along.  This is the three trio of Dave, Ethan, and Ed.  Possibly we'll be joined by the incredible violinist Trevor Lloyd sitting in for part of the evening (we hope)

June 29, Jam Session daytime - Games night

Sequoians annual Jam on the Lawn.  We hope you can join us for this to.  Starts 1 to 5 or whenever followed by pot luck dinner.  This is your chance to sing with the band, break out your instruments, your favorite tunes, your dancing shoes (or not) and be ready to dance naked like no one is watching.  Join us for a rocking good time.  Email dsfingers@sbcglobal.net if you want to perform, tunes you'd like to sing and we'll get something worked up.  We will try to organize this a bit more than years past so everyone gets a chance to perform.

July 13/14, National Nude Weekend, AANR Skinny Dip in pool, repeat event.

July 20, Full Moon Hike There will be music on the lawn with David's band Andy's gang either Saturday or Sunday,   Please check their website for that information which will be posted as soon as the date is agreed upon.
